On the occasion of the European Day Against Islamophobia, FEMYSO will host the EU Policy Talks 2021, an event organised as part of the MEET – More Equal Europe Together project in coordination with Fondazione L’Albero della Vita and with the support of ARDI and Open Society. The EU Policy Talks will be held in Brussels, as well as online, on 21 September.
Representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, and of organizations and experts on the subject will participate to discuss the political priorities to eliminate the discrimination faced by Muslim women in Europe. There will also be time to discuss how to widen the space for civic engagement and inclusion in the formulation of policies aimed at tackling gender Islamophobia.
The event will be held both in English and Italian.
